Destination: Tokyo Part 7

Day 7
Date: 20 February 2008

It's Ginza & Imperial Palace for today.

Lots of high end brand store at Ginza. Well, after all, it's Tokyo's Rodeo Drive!

That's the Burberry store where I bought a limited edition pink checkered scarf for my youngest sister. The SAs were really nice even before I whipped out my credit card for payment.

We're finally at the Imperial Palace.

It's a long walk from one corner to the other corner.

Sakura!!

I actually couldn't find the palace as the directions keep pointing here and there and I kept circling the park that's in the compound of the palace.

Oh well, maybe next time round?

That's it for today!

Destination: Tokyo Part 6

Day 6
Date: 19 February 2008

Guess where I am heading to today?

Ahh, yes, Disneyland.

It's another 5 minutes walk from the big signage. Luckily it was winter and I didn't even sweat one bit walking for that long under the sun.

And walk. Are we there yet?

We're there!!

The World Bazaar.

Pirates of the Carribean. Johnny Depp wasn't there though.

That's the Jungle Cruise. The entire ride was narrated in Japanese. It would've been fun if I understand basic Japanese but it was fun nevertheless.

Yay! It's Adventureland!

Swiss Family Tree House.

The Tiki Room is actually closed. :( Maybe for my next trip to Tokyo then.

And we're off to Tom Sawyer Island Rafts!

Lots of rocks!

Look at that. So authentic right?

Got myself this delicious snack. It's a really yummy custard filled soft pretzel.

Went for a ride at 'It's A Small World' as the queue was really short. I was a little impatient having to need to queue for half an hour for a ride.

OMG! Look at the queue for Mickey's house tour! Ok, NEXT!!

Queue for Minnie's house was obviously so much shorter, so I decided to visit her home instead.

Everything in the house is so cute!!

Cinderella's castle. I actually took this photo from one of the place where it had this special signboard that says 'Take Your Picture Here'. Thanks for the guide that this picture turned out good!

Since it was Valentine's month, Disneyland actually had Cinderella for their Valentine's theme princess. Everything is very Cinderella, even their limited edition cookie/tea packagings!

I did not go into Cinderalla's castle though. I thought there was nothing but pictures and stuff in there.

After that I heard from a friend that all the princesses are in the castle!! Snow White, Cinderalla, Belle etc! Oh well, I guess maybe next time I'll check it out then?
