Hotel: La Maison Trevi Roma

There seem to be no website for this hotel. It's not a full scale hotel but more like a B&B (Bed & Breakfast) but they don't serve breakfast. It is situated near Trevi Fountain and that's about roughly 10 mins walk from IQ Hotel Roma.

Anyway, I've booked La Maison Trevi for my last night in Rome due to IQ Hotel Roma being fully booked then. They quoted me €89 (payment via credit card) / €79 (payment via cash). It's a mighty good deal and hopefully this hotel is as described on Trip Advisor.

This hotel is the sister hotel for La Piccola Maison.

Hotel: IQ Hotel Roma

I have booked IQ Hotel Roma for my trip to Rome this month. It is currently ranked #4 on tripadvisor. The reviews are good, centrally located and the interior is very modern. Oh, not forgetting, they are offering a 50% off for your entire stay if you stay for more than 3 nights! That is roughly about €80 per night including city tax.

Hopefully the hotel rooms are as shown as per their website.

Airline: Qatar Airways

I have been travelling quite a bit in the past but I didn't really document any of my travels. I decided that I should because I kept forgetting where this picture was taken or which restaurant I have eaten at.

I've purchased an air ticket from Qatar Airways for Rome. Finally!

I initially wanted to fly with KLM, however, the price is about RM3,6xx. Qatar Airways' is only RM25xx.That's a major RM1,1xx savings there!

I did a google on Qatar Airways' reviews before purchasing. Skytrax rated them 5 star and there were really good reviews of this airline. So, why not?

However, my transit time in Doha Airport will be about 12hours and 50 mins for KUL-DOH-FCO sector and 9hrs and 30 mins for FCO-DOH-KUL sector. Yes, OMG! Luckily, their new Arrivals Terminal has opened.

I'm scheduled to depart on 29.01.2011. More updates by then.
